Bellator's First St. Patrick's Season
And our First St. Patrick's Day season comes to a close. It was truly an amazing experience. We started the season out at the Ulster Project. It is a project committed to, "Creating Unity, Amidst Adversity." One of our dancers, Natalie Lemanczyck, participated in the project this past year and had a blast! This was our Beginners class first performance and truthfully I was expecting nerves and was pleasantly surprised to see all of them with HUGE smiles on stage and not a nerve to be found #bellatormentality. They nailed it! Overall, for our first performance went so well (besides one of our dancers falling of the stage! She was a true warrior and jumped right back up and kept dancing!),
Next up was the Milestones Family fun night. At one point the music cut out unexpectedly... and what did the dancers do? One of our favorite sayings at the studio is, "JUST KEEP GOING!" and they did!
The Parade was one of our favorite events! We had the band Edith's End rock out the parade with us. They are a local band based in Milwaukee that play Irish Music with a twist (which is my favorite!) Our dancers were having so much fun that instead of riding on the float and waving they hopped off the float and danced through the streets all the through the parade! The best part? We won an AWARD! Our first parade! We won the Michael J. Smith Best Irish Unit! Afterwards we got to perform at Mo's Irish Pub downtown. Looking for some great pub food? This is the spot!
